Responsible for patching, imaging, driver and firmware updates, and node health monitoring and remediation.\nAdminister the Slurm scheduler: partitions, QoS, accounting, reservations, license tracking, prolog/epilog.\nAdminister NFS storage volumes, quotas, and permissions.\nAdminister license servers (FlexLM, RLM, DSLS) and license limit enforcements.\nInstall and maintain commercial simulation software and associated environment modules (STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, Abaqus, Converge CFD, GT-Suite, Optistruct, JMAG Electromagnetic, etc).\nProvide direct user support: job script troubleshooting, failed and underperforming job diagnosis, user onboarding, documentation, and user training.\nInvestigate performance and reliability problems to root cause using systematic diagnosis; benchmark and validate node and fabric performance.\nWrite and maintain shell scripting for automation, health checks, reporting, and user-facing tooling.\nOwn vendor trouble tickets (hardware, software, licensing) through to resolution.\nConsult and support build-out and commissioning of additional cluster capacity.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nLinux system administration in a server or datacenter environment (RHEL family).\nSlurm or comparable HPC workload manager (PBS, LSF, Grid Engine).\nCluster management tooling — Bright Cluster Manager / NVIDIA Base Command Manager.\nNVIDIA GPU and driver administration.\nBash and python scripting.\nStrong networking fundamentals; RDMA/RoCE or InfiniBand exposure.\nMPI, NUMA topology, and CPU/memory performance tuning.\nNFS and shared filesystem administration.\nFamiliarity with commercial CFD or FEA software.\nMethodical troubleshooter — forms a hypothesis, tests it, and works a problem to resolution.\nComfortable with unfamiliar problems and vendor documentation.\nClear communicator with engineering end users.\nDisciplined about change control on production systems.\n\nWhy Join Us\nReady to be part of a team that pushes boundaries both on and off the track?
