This role is ideal for students looking to gain real-world experience in supply chain and purchasing within the automotive and motorsports industry.\n\nDate of Internship: Summer 2027\n\nJob Location: On-Site in Concord, NC\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist buyers with purchasing components, materials, and equipment\nHelp create and track purchase orders for accuracy and timely delivery\nCommunicate with suppliers to follow up on orders and resolve basic issues\nSupport supplier onboarding and documentation collection\nMaintain accurate procurement and inventory records\nCollaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand part requirements\nAssist with cost tracking and basic reporting\nSupport urgent and just-in-time (JIT) delivery needs as required\nLearn IFS ERP system for purchase requisition and purchase order creation\nGenerate IFS reports as needed to assist team in forecasting\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\nCurrent college/university students seeking Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field \nAutomotive and/or Energy industry experience\nBasic understanding of procurement software and materials management\nKnowledge of IFS for procurement and financial management, preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint\n\nPersonal Attributes:\nCollaboration: Works effectively with internal teams and external partners.\nAdaptability: Responds effectively to evolving business needs and opportunities.\nGrowth mindset\nAbility to handle multiple projects independently\nClear communicator, both written and verbal along with keen attention to detail\nAptitude for learning as you go \n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, walk, and move in diverse operational environments \nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. \n\nWhy Join Us: You’ll help support a team developing a next-generation Formula 1 power unit, working alongside professionals who value precision, creativity, and a constant drive to improve.
