In this role you will work closely with other Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering team members in a large, professional architectural and engineering firm. For this role, we are seeking someone who can co-own projects and own pieces of larger projects with decreasing guidance and who takes initiative through iterating on existing processes.\nSome components that may help indicate you are at this knowledge milestone include more tangible items like:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited program\n5+ years' experience at an Architectural, Landscape Architectural, or Civil Engineering firm\nCurrently professionally licensed or on the path to licensure\nExcellent time management skills and a thorough understanding of task assignment, scheduling, budgeting and the efficient use of resources.\nAbility to lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, while also working independently and being self-managed to meet schedules and deadlines.\nStrong skill set in athletics, playground and recreation design.\nUnderstanding site circulation as it relates to vehicles, buses, and pedestrians.\nExperience with higher education and master planning is appreciated.\nCreative designer with a passion for quality and ability to lead exceptional client service\nProficiency in relevant design/drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)\nWhat might set you apart from other candidates?\nA proven team player that enjoys a collaborative work environment\nMotivated by building relationships with both fellow employees and clients\nAn understanding of both design and constructability\nDemonstrated ability to balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nHorticultural knowledge\nAutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar modeling experience\nWe might be a great match for each other if you are:\nA self-starter with great time management skills who thrives in an environment with team-based decision making.\nAn individual who strives to learn and grow, is motivated by their team's success and works hard to ensure it.\nSomeone who enjoys trying new ideas and constantly improving.\nWhat you might also like to know is that:\nWe're an employee-owned company.
