Based at the GMPPU Concord facility, this role is critical to ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and precision across all Energy Recovery System (ERS) assembly activities, as well as supporting development, testing and race operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssembly, servicing, and maintenance of prototype ERS hybrid powertrain components and assemblies, including high voltage battery, control electronics, e-motors and associated sub-systems.\nPrepare ERS assemblies for development testing, dyno operations, and trackside deployment.\nAccurately follow technical drawings, build specifications and assembly procedures, as well as conduct rigorous in-process and final quality checks.\nCapture all component and assembly information within the ERP system to ensure full build and configuration traceability.\nIdentify and document quality or assembly-related issues, ensuring faults are logged through internal quality systems.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHands-on capabilities for assembling electronics, live cells and mechanical small to medium parts.\nStrong technical understanding of electronics and safe high-voltage assembly processes.\nExperience in laser welding operations and quality.\nExperience working in an ESD-sensitive and clean-room environment.\nHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.\nProficiency with ERP systems for work orders and inventory management.\nExperience in motorsport, advanced automotive, aerospace, or high-performance engineering environments is highly desirable.\n\nKey Attributes\nMethodical, disciplined, and quality-focused approach to assembly work.\nStrong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.\nWillingness to take ownership and accountability for build quality.\nAdaptable and responsive to changing priorities and tight deadlines.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to safely lift and move materials and components typically up to 25 lbs, with heavier items handled with assistance or appropriate equipment as needed.\nComfortable working on your feet and performing light physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout a standard shift while wearing required PPE.\nWillingness to work in a manufacturing and test environment, including moderate noise levels, variable temperatures, and a dynamic, fast-paced setting.\n\nReady to be part of a team that pushes boundaries both on and off the track?
