Together with other team members, the Helper works to exceed customer expectations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.\nCommunicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and other trades on job sites.\nDeliver materials to the satisfaction of customers and maintain an emphasis on safety, service, and efficiency.\nMaintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise.\nPrepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed.\nReport all accidents or injuries.\nVerify load security and accuracy.\nAct as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.\nFollow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nBasic Requirements:\nA valid driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract is an asset.\nEffective written and oral communication skills.\nKnowledge of basic mathematics.\nBasic hand tool skills.\nCompletion of high school preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry up to 100lbs.\nSitting for long periods.\nFrequently climbing up and downstairs.\nPulling, pushing, bending, and torso twisting movements to transfer building materials between truck and job site.\nJob Location: GMS Family of Locations - Lethbridge425 - 31 Street N Lethbridge, AB T1H 3Z4\nSRS Distribution Inc., including all its subsidiaries, is committed to providing equal employment.
