Join GN as our new Industrialization Project Manager and contribute to the development of automated manufacturing solutions across our global operations.\nIn the role of Industrialization Project Manager, you will connect product development and manufacturing to ensure that new products are designed for efficient, scalable, and quality-focused production.\nThe team you will be part of:\nBased at our global HQ in Ballerup, you will join the Global Industrialization Product Management team with more than 30 colleagues working across product industrialization and manufacturing technology.\nYou will work in an international environment with R&D teams in Denmark, Italy, the US, and China, assembly sites globally, and manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia.\nWe value collaboration across cultures and disciplines, and we challenge existing practices to develop increasingly automated, large-scale manufacturing processes.\nYour contribution is appreciated, and you will:\nOwn DFX compliance in assigned new product development projects, ensuring products are designed for automated assembly, testing, and repair while meeting quality and cost targets\nAct as the technical interface between design teams and manufacturing sites throughout the journey from early concept to large-scale production\nManage industrialization activities across disciplines, including hardware, materials, cost, and audio, to support timely and coordinated delivery\nIntegrate automation and new manufacturing technologies into production design, while promoting knowledge sharing and reuse across projects\nSupport and oversee first builds at manufacturing sites, ensuring relevant industrialization guidelines are applied\nContribute to technology projects, primarily within automation and robotics, and support the development and execution of the industrialization strategy\nTravel globally when needed to support manufacturing initiatives and collaboration with production sites\nTo perform well in the role, we imagine that you:\nBring experience with Industry 4.0, automation, and the design or optimization of medium- to high-volume production lines\nHave worked with electromechanical products and manufacturing processes, including assembly fixtures and carrier plates\nBring experience with project management and a structured approach to planning, coordinating, and following through on activities\nHave knowledge of DFX, including Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, Design for Repair, automation, and cost\nCommunicate openly and collaborate effectively across stakeholders, maintaining a solutions-oriented approach in challenging situations\nWell-structured, goal-oriented, and co-operative with a mindset \nWe encourage you to apply\nEven if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills.
