In the role ofSenior RTR Accountant within the Finance Record-to-Report team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will manage fixed asset and project accounting activities, support period-end closing and reporting, and help ensure that accounting processes are accurate, timely and compliant with applicable standards and internal policies.

You will be part of a Finance organization supporting high-quality accounting and reporting across the business. The team works closely with local and global Finance stakeholders, Group Finance, Tax and other business functions to ensure reliable financial information and effective financial processes.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Perform and review day-to-day accounting activities within the Record-to-Report (RTR) process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness.
Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including capitalization, Capital Work in Progress (CWIP), depreciation, asset transfers and asset disposals/write-offs.
Prepare and post journal entries and manual journals accurately and in line with accounting policies.
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure agreed deadlines are met.
Perform and review General Ledger (GL) activities, including reconciliations, outstanding items, recurring entries and expense amortization.
Prepare and post prepaid expense amortization and allocation entries.
Support GL reclassifications and regrouping activities based on business requirements and input from internal stakeholders.
Support Group Finance with consolidated financial reporting and disclosures.
Provide accounting information and support for management reporting and other Finance reporting activities.
Ensure accounting activities comply with IFRS, local accounting requirements and internal accounting policies.
Perform and support key accounting controls and contribute to a strong internal control environment.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, reconciliations and explanations.
Work closely with Group Tax and other stakeholders by providing accounting data and supporting tax-related calculations and reconciliations.
Identify opportunities to improve, simplify and automate accounting processes.
Build effective relationships with Finance colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Have a degree or relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Have professional experience in accounting, ideally including fixed asset accounting and project-related accounting activities.
Have a good understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, including capitalization, depreciation, asset disposal and Capital Work in Progress.
Have a sound understanding of accounting fundamentals and relevant accounting standards, including IFRS and local accounting requirements.
Are familiar with working in an ERP system and are comfortable navigating financial systems and processes.
Are confident using MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and can communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
Are structured, detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate and timely work.
Have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with colleagues across different functions and locations.
Are comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
Are motivated to identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification and automation.
It is beneficial to have experience in a multinational company or Global Business Services / Shared Services environment.
It is beneficial to have experience with Polish accounting and statutory requirements, including Polish GAAP (UoR), NBP reporting and ZUS.
Experience gained in an accounting office is also welcome.
