This role maximizes the efficient use of personnel, equipment, and materials to produce quality products delivered on time and within cost objectives. The Production Supervisor works closely with department managers and support staff to ensure smooth production flow, adherence to safety and quality standards, and continuous improvement in operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDirect supervision of operators and material handlers in the Metal Fabrication Shop.\nWork closely with 1st Shift Production Supervisor and Setup/Fixture Dept. to ensure quality and timeliness of each order.\nMaintain accurate production tracking in Visual, RF-Plus.\nEnforce and model safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards, fostering a culture of accountability.\nOversee daily quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications, providing timely feedback and corrective actions when needed.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives through problem-solving methods (5 Whys, root-cause analysis, process audits) to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and optimize throughout.\nEnsure all machines and work areas are properly guarded, maintained, and operated safely in compliance with\nOSHA and company standards.\nCoach, mentor, and develop team members, promoting professional growth and collaboration across shifts.\nRequirements:\n3+ years of supervisory experience\nOrganizational skills\nCommunication skills\nComputer Skills\nProblem-Solving Skills\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nExperience with metal fabrication equipment (press welders, press brakes, robotic equipment, CNC Wire benders, punch presses, mig welding, etc.)\nWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nCandidates with the following characteristics are a plus:\nBilingual (English/Spanish)\nExperience in the POP Industry\nCollege degree\nOpportunities for Growth:\nYou will have the opportunity to gain experience, and new skills and acquire new knowledge that can be applied to grow into new positions with higher pay.
