This position will lead the branch personnel to establish, develop, and maintain Key Metrics for the branch location.\nThis role will report to the Vice President of the South Region.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure strategic goals and sales targets are met by maximizing sales and gross profit through reviewing sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory investment.\nHire, train, develop, and supervise a small team of employees.\nProvide employees with feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations. Assess needs and build career paths.\nCoordinate employee staffing schedules and conduct weekly team meetings.\nNetwork to further develop customer relationships in surrounding service areas.\nStay abreast of emerging technologies.\nIdentify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with existing and potential customers. Develops and maintains relationships with top accounts.\nEnsure in-person customer visits are regularly scheduled with the designated Account Manager to address customer concerns and ensure best possible outcome.\nAnalyze and monitor branch inventory and stock movement.\nPlan & organize customer events, local tradeshow needs, seminars, and supplier counter days.\nQualifications\nHigh School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors Degree - Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred\n5-7 years prior professional sales experience in Electrical Distribution, Industrial Automation, Industrial Supply, and Electrical Construction. \nPrior inventory/P&L management experience.\n1-3 years prior experience with managing a team.\nWorking knowledge of business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources.\nCRM/Pipeline discipline management with account managers.\nDemonstrated verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.\nKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.\nExcellent time management and computer skills.\nERP system experience is required.\nCRM system experience is preferred.\nPreferred familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nValid driver's license/reliable transportation required.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires prolonged periods of driving, getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day, standing/walking at customer sites, as well as sitting at a desk.\nMust be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times. \nCompany-Provided Benefits\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nHealth Savings Account (Employer contributions for 1st year only)\n401(k) (Company match contributions and discretionary annual profit-sharing plan)\nCompany Sponsored Life Insurance\nCompany Sponsored Short-Term Disability\nCompany Sponsored Long-Term Disability\nEmployee Assistance Program\nVoluntary Benefits\nLegal Services\nCritical Illness\nLife Insurance\nDependent Care/FSA\nAbout Agilix Solutions\nWith a robust history dating back nearly 130 years, Agilix Solutions delivers meaningful solutions to our customers in the industrial, commercial, and construction markets.
