In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nLocation: 11511 No. 5 Rd, Richmond, BC, V7A4E8 \nHourly Rate: $24-25 per hour\nDays:Monday to Friday\nKey Responsibilities:\nReceiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse\nStaging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating\nProvide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership\nMove, pick, pack, and scan items in a safe manner\nUse of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies\nDaily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion\nFollow all 5S processes consistently and effectively\nCreate an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture\nTrain new employees on company standards and procedures\nLead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates\nAssign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity\nConduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback\nEnsure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations\nImplement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency\nEnforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment\nAddress and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods\nLiaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues\nCommunicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners\nQualifications:\nProven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position\nStrong leadership and team management skills\nExcellent organizational and time-management abilities\nProficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite\nKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)\nProlonged periods of standing and walking\nHaving a valid forklift license would be an asset\nWhy Join Us?\nWe are innovative, goal-oriented, and are always on the search for energetic and passionate people who are eager to learn and would like to have a rare opportunity to grow within one of Canada's fastest-growing companies.\nWe offer a workplace where respect, diversity, and inclusion are the cornerstones of our culture.
