In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily inventory control operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant management of a wide range of goods.. This role involves leading a team of inventory control associates, coordinating cycle counts and audits, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in inventory control or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nRole Details:\nPay Rate: $24-$26 per hour\nHours & Schedule: 4x10 schedule | 6pm-4:30am | Wednesday-Saturday\nLocation: 5600 Knott Ave, Buena Park CA 90621\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead, mentor, and supervise a team of inventory control associates;\nTrain new employees on inventory control standards, cycle counting procedures, and warehouse management system (WMS) best practices;\nAssign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity across receiving, put-away, and inventory audits;\nOversee the accurate receipt, storage, and tracking of inventory delivered to the warehouse;\nPerform and coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy;\nConduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, shrink, and damaged goods, and implement corrective actions;\nProvide regular reports on inventory accuracy and other key performance metrics to operations leadership;\nUse of tools including but not limited to WMS platforms, RF scanners, carts, hand trucks, and dollies;\nFollow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;\nParticipate in regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;\nSupport inventory control and quality assurance (ICQA) style compliance audits, ensuring adherence to quality and inventory control standards;\nImplement and maintain inventory control processes and procedures to maximize accuracy and efficiency;\nEnforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;\nAddress and resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or misplaced inventory;\nLiaise with other departments, such as receiving, fulfillment, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve discrepancies;\nCommunicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of3 years in an inventory control/fulfillment environment within a warehouse with at least1 year in a supervisory or team lead position;\nStrong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and cycle counting methodologies;\nStrong leadership and team management skills;\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities;\nKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations, including OSHA standards;\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills;\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;\nAbility to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);\nProlonged periods of standing and walking;\nAuthorized to work in the US for any employer;\nHave a valid forklift license (An asset not a requirement).\nWhy Join Us?\nWe offer a workplace where respect, diversity, and inclusion are the cornerstones of our culture.
