Together, we’re shaping a smarter, safer, and more sustainable built world. \n\nPosition Overview: \n\nThe Integrations Engineer I will entail transforming customer requirements into complete solutions — including custom, code-based integrations when pre-built connectors aren't enough — that increase the value our customers derive from our products. There will be numerous opportunities to grow your integration expertise, contribute to best practices, and collaborate with more senior team members.\n\nYour Most Important Initiatives: \n\nArchitect and build robust API-based integrations connecting our core product with third-party systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Salesforce, NetSuite) to solve complex customer requirements.\n\nBuild custom, code-based integrations from scratch using REST/SOAP APIs and scripting languages when off-the-shelf connectors don't meet the requirement.\n\nDesign and implement webhook-driven, event-based workflows that ensure reliable, real-time data synchronization across systems.\n\nConfigure and secure API authentication (e.g. OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT) to protect customer data across all integrations.\n\nBuild resilient error-handling, retry, and idempotency logic so integrations recover gracefully from failures at scale.\n\nTest, debug, and validate integrations using tools such as Postman to ensure solutions perform reliably before deployment.\n\nDeliver projects on time and within scope, proactively communicating status, roadblocks, and risks to the team.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, escalating to senior team members when necessary.\n\nChampion integration best practices and contribute to documentation standards that scale across the team.\n\nWhat You Bring:\n1-3 years of experience working with APIs across multiple products\n\n1-3 years of experience in a scripting language (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Ruby)\n\nExperience building custom integrations from the ground up when pre-built or off-the-shelf connectors aren't available\n\nAbility to write custom scripts and code to extend, bridge, or transform functionality between disconnected systems\n\nExperience with API authentication protocols (e.g. OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT)\n\nExperience building or consuming webhooks and event-driven integrations\n\nWorking knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and JSON/XML data formats, including data mapping and transformation\n\nUnderstanding of error handling, retry logic, and idempotency in integration workflows\n\nExperience with API testing/debugging tools (e.g. Postman)\n\nBasic SQL/database knowledge for data mapping and troubleshooting\n\nExperience with version control tools such as Git\n\nUnderstanding of API rate limiting and pagination handling\n\nAbility to juggle competing priorities\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nAttention to detail\n\nGoal and results oriented\n\nOptimistic with a value-added mindset\n\nProactive and easily adaptable\n\nStrong sense of ownership with a high aptitude for translating customer business requirements into results\n\nWhy Join Us? \nJoin a mission-driven team focused on proactive customer success and long-term partnership.
