Our Platform team runs the cloud\ninfrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, delivery pipelines and observability stack that engineering\nteams ship on. We run primarily on AWS, with GCP as well, and are growing our multi-cloud and\non-prem footprint.\nThe Role\nYou will work under Ashish in a small Platform team, building and operating reliable, secure and\ncost-efficient infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, writes code\nand follows work through to a verified result.\nYou will own scoped infrastructure and automation projects end to end: clarify the problem,\nagree priorities and scope with Ashish, plan the work, implement and test changes, roll them out\nsafely and verify the outcome. You will coordinate with engineering teams, raise blockers early\nand seek review for high-risk changes.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvision and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and configuration automation\nsuch as Ansible.\nBuild and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads, including scaling, upgrades,\nsecurity hardening and Helm packaging.\nImprove CI/CD and GitOps delivery using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, with reliable\ndeployment checks and rollback paths.\nBuild observability through metrics, logs, dashboards, alerting and SLOs using\nPrometheus, Grafana and Loki.\nReduce repetitive work across provisioning, configuration, patching, backups and\nrunbooks. Build maintainable automation with error handling, tests, documentation and\nsafe recovery.\nUse AI-assisted tools to build, debug and improve scripts, infrastructure code and\noperational workflows. Review and test generated changes, protect credentials and\nproduction data, and retain human review for high-risk actions.\nSupport data stores and messaging systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis\nand queues. Participate in on-call, incident response and blameless postmortems, and\nfollow through on reliability improvements.\nApply least-privilege IAM, secrets management and network policies. Monitor cloud cost\nand resource usage, and implement improvements with verified impact.\nMust Have Skills\n2 to 4 years of hands-on CloudOps, DevOps or Platform engineering experience,\nincluding work on production systems.\nStrong hands-on AWS experience and the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.\nPractical Terraform experience, including modules, remote state, workspaces and safe\nchange planning.\nProduction Kubernetes experience, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads;\nfamiliarity with Helm packaging.\nSolid Linux and networking fundamentals, plus the ability to write and debug useful scripts\nor tools in Bash, Python or Go.\nExperience with source control, CI/CD, GitOps and observability. We use GitHub Actions,\nArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana and Loki; comparable tool experience is welcome.\nDemonstrated delivery of an infrastructure improvement or automation from problem\ndefinition through rollout and verification.\nLeverages AI to build high quality systems and governance framework.\nPractical proficiency with AI-assisted engineering. You can explain a working script,\ninfrastructure change or workflow you built with AI, how you validated it and how you\nhandled incorrect or unsafe output.\nGood to Have\nAnsible or similar configuration-management experience.\nGCP experience, including GKE, Cloud SQL, IAM and Secret Manager.\nCloud and Kubernetes hardening, vulnerability scanning or compliance experience.\nDatabase operations, backups, replication or tuning for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.\nClickHouse or Redis; messaging experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or similar.\nCloud migrations, multi-cloud operations or on-prem Kubernetes experience with bare\nmetal, kubeadm, RKE or similar.\nSystem design experience covering high availability, scalability and disaster recovery.\nWhat We Look For\nOwnership and initiative: you identify useful improvements, turn agreed priorities into\naction and see work through without repeated follow-up.\nStrong judgment: you investigate before making changes, balance speed with reliability\nand know when to ask for review or escalate.\nClear communication and fast learning: you make progress visible, explain trade-offs and\nblockers, and work effectively across a small team.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou independently deliver agreed improvements, reduce repeated manual work, make\ndeployments safer and address recurring operational problems.
