The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our customers’ servers, computers, networks & infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting network issues, implementing security measures and ensuring optimal network performance. The Field Service Technician will also be responsible for assisting our customers with their day-to-day computer and networking needs. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.\nThis position reports to the Field Service Supervisor\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:\nProvide on-site technical support to contract clients.\nRespond to escalated technical issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and provide solutions to clients.\nProvide high-quality customer service to clients and maintain a positive relationship with them.\nDocument all issues, resolutions, and client interactions in the ticketing system.\nCommunicate effectively with the team to ensure the client's needs are met.\nParticipate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. \nInstalling, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers\nParticipate in on-call rotation after-hours or critical support events.\nInstalling and configuring application and operating system software and upgrades\nRemoving old equipment and performing data migration to new machines\nAll teammates are expected to demonstrate job flexibility and perform other duties as assigned to deliver on our promise to keep the client’s needs our priority.\nPerform general server support\nSupport of MS Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory administration\nOTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:\nExcellent interpersonal skills (develop and maintain strong working relationships with fellow team members, customers, and vendors)\nStrong work ethic\nStrong organizational skills \nMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills\nMust possess excellent documentation skills\nMust be able to work independently to achieve goals\nMust be process and detail oriented\nMust have excellent troubleshooting skills\nOccasional overtime/weekend work may be required\nThrive in a team environment\nLearn quickly\nMust have access to reliable transportation\nThorough knowledge of PC hardware, software, and network connections\nMust be able to multitask\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Education and Experience:\n\nManaged Services experience\n5+ years’ experience in IT related field\nCompTIA A+, and/or Network +,and/or Security +\n\n Preferred Education and Experience:\n\nExperience with Python and API's \nAny vendor certifications\nCloud platform experience (Azure preferred)\n\nMust have valid driver’s license with clean driving history\nBenefits:\n401(k) matching\nDental insurance\nFlexible spending accounts\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\nWork Location: Coconut Grove, FL (Surrounding Area).
