Join us in shaping the future of transformative technology - together.\nThe Role:\nThe Senior Mechanical Engineer will have 5+ years of relevant experience as defined below. We seek engineers who are excited to bring ideas to life through thoughtful, hands-on design. This role will work with teams to design and test mechanical concepts for systems, mechanisms, and parts - all while balancing function, appearance, form, and budgetary requirements. This is a hybrid position with the potential for frequent travel to local client sites.\nResponsibilities:\nParticipate in a variety of design, drafting, test, analysis and documentation tasks in support of product success.\nApplication of engineering principles in a variety of industries.\nWork well with clients and as a key member on project teams.\nCommunicate clearly with team members, senior management, and the client throughout the project.\nDisplay a high degree of ownership and the ability to independently identify risks & pursue paths forward in support of program objectives.\nBe a positive and success-oriented individual who is familiar with the latest product development, production, and rapid prototype methodologies.\nWork with team members to estimate resource requirements, monitor progress and balance/reallocate as needed.\nStrive to balance strategic planning and tactical execution.\nWork with team members to resolve conflicts among resources and between clients and engineering teams.\nServe as a technical leader for mechanical and interdisciplinary programs.\nKeep all privileged information private and confidential.\nBe proficient in the latest version of SolidWorks CAD package.\nTravel as-needed (valid driver’s license and vehicle required).\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field\nMechanical design and DFX, with experience in design and/or manufacturing at least one of: sheet metal, weldments or injection-molded plastics\nExperience with robotics and automation and/or medical devices\n2D drawing creation (GD&T a plus)\nPLM\nTolerance analysis\nSustaining engineering\nOur Benefits:\nFlexible Time Off: Benefit from our generous flexible time off policy.
