{"id":1521621,"url":"https://alion.io/job/godrej-industries-technical-product-manager","title":"Technical Product Manager","company":{"id":3843927,"name":"Godrej Industries","domain":"godrejinds.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/godrej-industries","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":null,"truth_index":null},"role":"Product","role_family":"Product","seniority":"senior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Mumbai, India"],"countries":["IN"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":25000,"max_usd":49000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":42},"experience_years_min":7,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Agile","optional":false},{"name":"Confluence","optional":false},{"name":"Jira","optional":false},{"name":"Power BI","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-30T10:36:03Z","employer_posted_date":null,"last_verified_at":"2026-09-30T10:36:03Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":21,"trust":{"level":"not_scored","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":21},"description":"Job Description : \n\nRole & Responsibilities : \n\nDomain Champion & Front Door for Technology : \n\n- Act as the single accountable point of contact for all technology applications, platforms and tools within Sales & Marketing.\n\n- Build deep domain and technical knowledge of the applications, integrations and data flows supporting the function.\n\n- Own and maintain the application landscape map, roadmap and lifecycle plan for the domain.\n\n- Serve as the trusted technology advisor to the function head and business stakeholders in the domain.\n\nDemand Management & Prioritisation : \n\n- Manage the end-to-end demand funnel for the domain intake, qualification, business case validation and prioritisation.\n\n- Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, prioritised product/technology backlogs.\n\n- Balance run-the-business (support, enhancements) and change-the-business (new initiatives) demand within capacity constraints.\n\n- Facilitate governance forums to align stakeholders on priority calls and trade-offs.\n\nDelivery Orchestration & Quality : \n\n- Orchestrate delivery across internal teams, vendors/SIs and platform teams to ensure committed timelines and quality are met.\n\n- Track delivery milestones, dependencies and blockers, and drive resolution with delivery teams.\n\n- Ensure adherence to defined SDLC, testing, security, UAT and release management standards prior to go-live.\n\n- Own post-go-live stabilisation, adoption tracking and continuous improvement of solutions in the domain.\n\nSales & Marketing : \n\n- Own the technology roadmap for sales strategy tools, presales/CRM systems, the corporate and project websites, performance marketing/MarTech stack and call centre platforms.\n\n- Partner with Sales, Presales and Marketing leadership to digitise and optimise lead-to-booking journeys.\n\n- Ensure seamless integration between website, MarTech, CRM/presales systems and call centre platforms for a unified customer acquisition funnel.\n\n- Drive adoption of marketing analytics, attribution and campaign performance reporting tools.\n\n- Oversee data quality, lead tracking and conversion funnel instrumentation across channels.\n\nEscalation Management : \n\n- Serve as the first point of escalation for technical/application failures, outages or performance issues impacting the domain.\n\n- Drive root-cause analysis with technical teams and ensure timely resolution and permanent fixes.\n\n- Maintain a risk and issue log for the domain, and proactively flag risks before they impact business outcomes.\n\nStakeholder Management, Communication & Governance : \n\n- Own and publish regular dashboards/status reports on demand, delivery progress, risks and issues to function heads and leadership.\n\n- Run periodic governance reviews (steering committees, sprint reviews, monthly business reviews) with key stakeholders.\n\n- Manage dependencies across other domains, enterprise technology teams (infrastructure, security, data, ERP) and external vendors.\n\n- Build strong working relationships with business leaders to ensure technology is seen as a trusted enabler of business outcomes.\n\nPreferred Candidate Profile : \n\n- 7 - 10 years of experience, including experience leading technology delivery for sales/marketing functions, with proven stakeholder and vendor management at a leadership level.\n\nSkills & Competencies : \n\n- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence business and technical audiences.\n\n- Sound understanding of product management, agile delivery and vendor/SI management practices.\n\n- Ability to manage a demand funnel and prioritise competing requirements under constraints.\n\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
