They represent our commitment to stability through change, clarity of purpose, and a culture built around the right people in the right setup.\nAbout Position\nThe Head of Development is a senior technology leader responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering organization that delivers secure, scalable, and reliable platforms powering the S4BT ecosystem.\nWorking in a two-in-a-box partnership with the Head of Product, you will translate strategic priorities into technology execution, balancing innovation, operational excellence, and long-term platform sustainability.\nYou will also play a key role in Goelett's evolution into the central Product and Technology Hub of the S4BT Group, working closely with executive leadership and the Group CISO to establish modern engineering and governance practices.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n1. Engineering Leadership & Development\nLead, mentor, and develop cross-functional agile squads, fostering collaboration among developers, testers, and technical support teams.\nCreate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within each squad.\nEnsure alignment of all technical teams with the overall product strategy and business goals.\nEstablish clear performance goals and ensure teams deliver on sprint commitments and quality standards.\n2. Product Development & Delivery\nOversee the end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, from planning and prioritization through to release and post-launch support.\nTranslate the product roadmap into clear technical objectives and agile sprint plans.\nCollaborate closely with Head of Product to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and timely delivery.\nDrive adoption of working backwards concept in agile teams ensuring consistent execution across squads.\nMonitor velocity, cycle times, and quality metrics to optimize delivery processes.\n3. Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence\nLead testing and QA efforts in Goelett ensuring robust coverage and product reliability.\nImplement and maintain development standards, code review processes, and release management protocols.\n4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management\nCommunicate development progress, risks, and dependencies transparently to leadership.\nCollaborate with technical support teams to ensure seamless handover from development to production and efficient incident resolution always with customer-centric vision.\n5.
