The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing payment transactions, conducting vendor bank onboarding verification, and supporting bank account administration activities. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in payment operations within an MNC environment and hands-on experience with cross-border payments.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Treasury Operations and Cash Management\nReview and validate payment requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, appropriate supporting documentation, and compliance with internal policies.\nPerform maker-checker reviews for domestic and cross-border payment transactions.\nVerify payment details, beneficiary information, and authorization requirements before payment execution.\nEnsure payments are processed and released in accordance with payment schedules.\nInvestigate and resolve payment exceptions, discrepancies, and rejected transactions.\nEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and approval matrices.\nSupport daily treasury operations, including cash position monitoring, bank account management, and liquidity tracking.\nMonitor bank balances, cash movements, and funding requirements across multiple entities and currencies.\nAssist with intercompany fund transfers, payment coordination, and cash repatriation activities in accordance with internal policies and applicable requirements.\n2. Vendor Bank Onboarding Verification\nReview and verify vendor onboarding documentation, including company registration documents, bank account details, and supporting records.\nConduct validation checks to ensure vendor data accuracy and completeness.\nPerform independent verification of vendor bank account information to mitigate fraud and operational risks.\nMaintain vendor master data and accurately update vendor bank account information in the system upon completion of verification and approval procedures.\nCollaborate with Treasury, Finance and business stakeholders to resolve onboarding issues.\n3. Bank Account Administration\nAssist in bank account management activities, including account opening, account closure, account maintenance, and periodic reviews.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders and banking partners on documentation requirements. \nMaintain and update bank account records, signatory information, and banking documentation.\nSupport updates to payment approval matrices, bank mandates, and authorized signatory structures.\nAssist in banking system enhancements and bank connectivity initiatives as required.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field.\nAt least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury Operations, Payment Operations, Cash Management, or related finance functions.\nExperience in a multinational corporation (MNC) is highly preferred.\nProven experience reviewing and processing cross-border and multi-currency payments.\nExperience with vendor onboarding, bank account verification, or master data controls is an advantage.\nGood understanding of cross border fund transfer, banking operations, and internal controls.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nStrong attention to detail, risk awareness, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic global environment.\nKey Competencies\nAnalytical thinking and financial acumen\nAccuracy and attention to detail\nPlanning and organizational skills\nStakeholder collaboration\nProblem-solving and initiative\nProcess improvement and continuous learning\nAdaptability in a global working environment\nOVERVIEW\nAs a privately owned company, we are free from the pressures of venture capital or private equity investors demanding exponential growth in unreasonable time frames.\nSometimes, things just take time to do well.
