You'll work closely with Technical Operations, Network Engineering, Security, and cross-functional business teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable network solutions that support both commercial and government operations worldwide.\nIf you're someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building reliable enterprise networks, we'd love to meet you.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, implement, and manage enterprise and enclave network infrastructure supporting global and mission-critical operations.\nDevelop and execute network modernization initiatives that improve scalability, performance, reliability, and security across Gogo's global infrastructure.\nBuild and maintain secure private network environments supporting worldwide Points of Presence (PoPs) and specialized government and military operations.\nPartner with Security, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure high availability, redundancy, and operational excellence across global network environments.\nCreate and maintain detailed network architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and implementation plans.\nManage large-scale IP address management (IPAM) environments and network resource allocation.\nResearch emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concept testing, and recommend solutions that drive operational efficiency and reduce costs.\nSupport infrastructure refreshes, upgrades, and expansion projects aligned with business growth objectives.\nDevelop Bills of Materials (BOMs), manage vendor relationships, and oversee licensing, renewals, and lifecycle planning for network technologies.\nInstall, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and virtual networking platforms across geographically distributed environments.\nTroubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.\nProvide operational support for critical incidents, including participation in after-hours maintenance and emergency response activities.\nImplement and maintain network security controls, firewall policies, VPN solutions, and authentication systems.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance, improve automation, and reduce CAPEX and OPEX expenditures.\nMentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, technical training, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.\nDemonstrated expertise with Cisco networking platforms, including ISR, Nexus, NCS, and ASR technologies.\nStrong experience with Cisco operating systems, including IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.\nHands-on experience managing Palo Alto firewalls and PAN-OS environments.\nDeep understanding of enterprise networking technologies including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, STP, and VXLAN.\nExperience supporting large-scale LAN/WAN environments in highly available enterprise networks.\nAbility to diagnose and resolve complex networking, security, and infrastructure issues.\nStrong documentation, architecture, and network design skills using tools such as Visio, NetBox, or phpIPAM.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nWillingness to participate in after-hours maintenance activities and support critical network events when required.\n\nEven Better If You Have\nYou don't need to check every box below.
