This is an opportunity to build strong backend fundamentals, gain hands-on exposure to scalable systems, and understand what it takes to build reliable software in a high-growth environment.\nWhat You'll Own\nBuild and enhance backend services using Node.js and NestJS.\nDevelop APIs and backend components that power GoKwik's products.\nWork with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB and gain exposure to Redis, Kafka, and AWS.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.\nDebug issues and contribute to improving the reliability and performance of backend services.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering problem-solving.\nTake ownership of assigned tasks and progressively contribute to end-to-end features.\nLearn and apply backend engineering best practices around scalability, performance, and system design.\nWho You Are\nPursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.\nComfortable programming in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.\nFamiliarity with databases and basic backend development concepts.\nStrong interest in backend engineering and building scalable systems.\nCurious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.\nGood problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.\nPrior experience with personal projects, coding competitions, or open-source contributions is a plus.\nWhy GoKwik\nAt GoKwik, interns don't just shadow teams - they contribute to real products and solve real engineering problems.
