The role develops channel strategy, manages the editorial calendar, creates and publishes content, directs creators, coordinates event and influencer programs, and measures performance. The Social Media Manager works closely with the Event & Brand Engagement Coordinator, whose primary responsibilities are community engagement, social listening, event-based content capture, and field insights, and aligns material strategy, budget, sensitive-response, and brand-risk decisions with the Digital Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the organic social media strategy for assigned brands, including channel priorities, content pillars, publishing cadence, KPIs, and the integration of community, event, and field insights.
  • Own the multi-brand editorial calendar, aligning content with product launches, promotions, events, and broader digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop content concepts and creative briefs for internal creators and external partners; provide direction, consolidate stakeholder feedback, and oversee the creation, publication, and quality control of content across assigned channels.
  • Write, schedule, publish, and optimize social content across assigned platforms, ensuring brand standards and required approvals are met.
  • Lead social planning for events by defining content priorities, campaigns, shot lists, and deliverables, while partnering with the Event & Brand Engagement Coordinator to maximize content capture and post-event content utilization.
  • Manage influencer programs, including creator relationships, product fulfillment, deliverables, assets, performance tracking, and program reporting; escalate contract, budget, payment, or performance issues as needed.
  • Track and analyze social, campaign, promotion, and influencer performance, leveraging insights to optimize future content and prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting.
  • Maintain alignment with brand stakeholders, agency partners, and the Event & Brand Engagement Coordinator to coordinate priorities, content needs, launches, and strategic initiatives; align budget, priority, and strategy decisions with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain regular coordination with designated stakeholders for HSS, Frantz, SSOD, and LSIC; align requests affecting priorities, budget, or strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong copywriting, editing, scheduling, publishing, and quality-assurance skills across major social platforms.
  • Ability to develop actionable creative briefs, direct internal and external creators, evaluate deliverables, and communicate clear approvals and revisions.
  • Sound judgment in brand voice, community-response guidance, issue escalation, approval requirements, and brand-risk management.
  • Strong project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns, events, creators, assets, dependencies, and deadlines in ClickUp or a comparable system.
  • Experience coordinating influencer or sponsored-partner programs, including communication, briefs, deliverables, product fulfillment, payment tracking, assets, analytics, and relationship follow-up.
  • Ability to translate social listening, customer feedback, field observations, and performance data into content decisions, campaign recommendations, and clear reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, time management, follow-through, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience with social media marketing and/or content development.
