This will be achieved by managing, installing, repairing, and monitoring dewatering infrastructure including pumps (diesel and electric) and site infrastructure whilst following policies and procedures, along with statutory regulations.\nThis role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off 7 nights on 7 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.\nWhy Join Gold Fields?\nPermanent role with a leading gold producer\n6% site allowance and quarterly bonus up to 10% annually\nMonthly private health allowance\n6 weeks annual leave, pro rata long service leave after 5 years\nCultural leave equivalent to one weeks paid leave (aligned to rostered hours)\nFIFO parking discount\n$10K employee referral bonus\nAbout the Role:\nCarry out mechanical repairs, servicing or modifications to equipment in such a way as to maximise machine mechanical availability and increase operating efficiency.\nCarry out preventative maintenance of underground dewatering system.\nCarry out fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of damaged pumps, and all dewatering infrastructure.\nMaintain ancillary equipment.\nCarry out the regular review of maintenance processes and investigate, assess and where appropriate, propose modern technology.\nPrioritise resource and coordinate all unplanned work that arises over the course of the week.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nProven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance, preferably in an underground environment\nValid WA Manual Driver’s Licence\nBasic Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs, SAP would be an advantage\nKnowledge and application of relevant statutory obligations\nHR license, Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift tickets would be advantageous to your application\nAbout Gold Fields\nAt Gold Fields, we’re proud to be one of the world’s leading gold producers and more importantly, we’re a team united by a commitment to safety, respect, and creating lasting value for our people and communities.\nWe’re building an inclusive workforce where diverse perspectives drive success.
