This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth\nWhy You’ll Love Working for Us\nPermanent role with a leading gold producer \n6% site allowance, short term and long term incentive bonus\nMonthly private health insurance allowance \n$10K employee referral bonus\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop accurate short to medium term mine plans that support operational objectives and LOM timeframes. \nReview economic evaluations for each mine design completed within the Engineering Team to ensure financial objectives are met under determined cut-off grades\nEnsure mine plans consider ventilation, infrastructure, DnB and paste fill needs\nPrepare stope designs, decline, escapeways and level plan layouts, and mining instructions aligned with operational mining schedule.\nCreate infrastructure plans and schedules aligned with mining interactions and budget constraints\nProviding timely and accurate planning guidance for the delivery of the mining department production schedules.\nCollaborate across departments to support key projects.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nTertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline\nStrong knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to mining and ability to obtain WA FCMM Certificate (UG time completed).\nStrong underground engineering experience, ideally in gold.\nProficiency in MS Office and mining software (Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, Ventsim)\nManual Driver’s license\nAbout Gold Fields\nAt Gold Fields, we believe great leadership is grounded in empathy, respect, and growth.
