Your technical expertise and attention to detail directly support the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our guests while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance. By proactively addressing maintenance needs and responding swiftly to issues, you help create a welcoming and well-maintained environment that supports our operational excellence and guest service goals.\nJob Description:\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nProvide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture\nDiagnose and perform repairs on equipment and systems across guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, casino, and back-of-house areas\nPerform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, kitchen, and HVAC systems\nComplete minor cosmetic repairs and installations for furniture, fixtures, and equipment\nAssist in shift turnover by communicating pending work orders and unresolved maintenance issues\nEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position\nProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience\nAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team\nCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment\nKnowledge and/or certification in one or more of the following: plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, electricity, electronics, carpentry, flooring, kitchen equipment, or upholstery\nSouthern Nevada pool certification preferred\n5 years of plumbing experience preferred\nProven experience delivering high-quality guest service\nRequirements\nThis position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana\nAt least 21 years of age\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal\nObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company\nVerify right to work in the United States\nWork Cards\nNone\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently push/pull up to 100 lbs.\nFrequently lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels\nRegularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist\nRegularly stand and walk throughout shift\nOccasionally sit and work at a desk or computer\nAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone\nAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person\nAbility to distinguish between shades of color\nAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity\nAbility to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, and/or ramps\nWork Environment Potential Conditions\nIndoor\nOutdoor\nSmoky\nNoisy\nBright flashing lights\nExtreme heights\nExtreme hot & cold temperatures\nSlippery surfaces\nExposure to dust, fumes, and/or gases\nDisclaimer\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
