You are the organizational backbone-providing essential administrative support, managing key information, and ensuring seamless communication. Your efforts allow the Sales Team to focus on building client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your attention to detail, coordination skills, and proactive support are critical to keeping the team efficient, focused, and results-driven.\nJob Description:\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nProvide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture\nConserve the sales team's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; maintaining merge documentation; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating telecommunications\nReview and present items requiring signatures to the Director of Sales, including but not limited to sales contracts, departmental invoicing, and budget items\nComplete weekly departmental forecast and production updates in a concise and timely manner\nAssist Sales Managers and/or Director of Sales with client site inspections; conduct site inspections independently when needed\nRetrieve, log, and distribute incoming sales leads from multiple sources\nMediate communication between accounting, internal sales managers, and outside vendors regarding commission payments\nQuote room rates and terms, and make informed decisions regarding customer or hotel needs as directed\nReview all hotel sales contracts for accuracy, ensuring all terms (deposits due, rooming lists due, etc.) are correct and properly reflected in Delphi\nInput and maintain reminders in Delphi for coordinator and sales managers related to group follow-ups and actionable items\nMaintain confidentiality to protect customer and company information\nMaintain departmental procedures, recommend updates, and support SOP documentation and user training\nEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position\nProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\n1 year of Sales experience in a hospitality environment preferred\nDemonstrated commitment to providing excellent guest service\nAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment\nCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment\nAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system\nSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with Delphi collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.\nRequirements\nAt least 21 years of age\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred\nAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal\nObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company\nVerify right to work in the United States\nWork Cards\nNone\nPhysical Requirements\nOccasionally push/pull up to 25lbs.\nOccasionally lift and/or carry up to 20lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels\nRegularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist\nFrequently sit and work at a desk or computer\nOccasionally standing and walking\nAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone\nAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person\nAbility to distinguish between shades of color\nAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity\nWork Environment Potential Conditions\nIndoor\nSmoky\nNoisy\nBright flashing lights\nExtreme hot cold temperatures\nExposure to dust, fumes and/or gases\nDisclaimer\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
