This position reports to the Director, Community and Public Relations. \nThis is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication. \nThis is a full-time position based onsite in Santa Cruz, CA. \nKey Responsibilities \nBuild, maintain, and expand community partnerships that align with our strategic priorities \nSupport organization’s community outreach and volunteerism efforts \nAssist with planning and execution of organization’s monthly Helping Hands volunteer events \nCollaborate cross-departmentally and with external partners (corporate sponsors, community groups) to meet stakeholder goals \nHelp manage key programming and initiatives across community relations, partnerships, grassroots, youth programming, and special events (i.e., event creation, set up and execution, tear down, etc.) \nTrack, evaluate, and report on the impact of our programming \nAssist in community related online content development and execution including but not limited to - website, social media, and donation program \nLead development and deployment of the SCW Community Newsletter monthly \nSupport communication and scheduling for event logistics with internal staff and the team mascot, Mav’Riks \nSupport community relations game-day duties such as but not limited to activations, hospitality, and fundraising efforts \nLead Kaiser Permanente Thrive Zone ideation, communication, and post-game follow up for all SCW home games \nLead donation management tracking and execution \nAssist with events at Kaiser Permanente Arena, such as season ticket member and partner events, concerts, shows, etc. \nOther duties as assigned \nRequired Experience & Skills \nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience \n1-2 years of community relations or equivalent experience \nAbility to think creatively and outside-the-box \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite \nAbility to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization \nExcellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills \nAbility to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment without constant supervision \nConversational Spanish preferred, but not required \nTime Commitment\nAbility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays according to game/event schedule \nCompensation\n$24.00 - $25.00 Per Hour + Bonus\nComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents\nEmployer 401K match\nVacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves\nWarriors home tickets, team store discount and more!\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\n Golden State is an equal opportunity employer.\nWe will ensure that qualified applicants with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.\nWant to learn more about who we are and what we value?
