In this role, you will develop, plan, and execute new and creative in-game and in-arena entertainment elements and manage event logistics. You will also play a key role in supporting all aspects of arena operations to ensure the efficiency, maintenance, security, and functionality of Kaiser Permanente Arena, including coordinating and executing various events. This position works closely with both internal and external constituents, an excellent opportunity for you to be a part of our growing and exciting sports and entertainment organization that values initiative, creativity, and drive for results. This position reports to the Manager, Arena Operations (SCW).\nThis is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication!\nThis is a full-time position based onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate first-class entertainment features to ensure partner fulfillment and fan enjoyment\nPartner with Marketing and Partnership teams to ensure all client fulfillment is incorporated in game presentation\nDevise new and creative in-game and in-arena entertainment, including on-court promotions, video pieces, fan interactive elements, mascot skits, etc.\nIntegrate outside talent, props, and arena technology into a cohesive and well-choreographed entertainment package\nCoordinate logistics for non-game related events (i.e. season ticket holder nights, fan festivals, community impact events, etc.)\nScript event logs, graphics, in-arena and promotional scripts for every Warriors home game\nOversee game day event staff (i.e PA Announcer, Mascot, DJ, Pod Squad, Emcees, etc.)\nCreate game day event scripts, rundowns, and all aspects of the in-game presentation\nExecute maintenance projects related to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of Kaiser Permanente Arena, assuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction\nComplete maintenance and repair projects based on the assigned completion date\nPerform regular arena walkthroughs, identify areas in need of repair, replacement, or upgrade\nEnsure all safety equipment and procedures are up to date and functioning properly\nOther duties as assigned\nRequired Experience & Skills\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience\nMinimum 1 year of game presentation and/or live event management experience\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization\nExcellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills; strong attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment\nBending, stretching, and lifting to 50 lbs.\nTime Commitment\nAbility to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekends may be required\nCompensation\n$24.00 - $25.00 Per Hour+ Bonus\nComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents\nEmployer 401K match\nVacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves\nWarriors home tickets, team store discount and more!\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\n Golden State is an equal opportunity employer.\nWe will ensure that qualified applicants with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.\nWant to learn more about who we are and what we value?
