The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance design intent with production-ready execution.\nResponsibilities\nParticipate in weekly fit sessions and assist in evaluating garment prototypes\nMeasure samples prior to fittings and take detailed notes during the fit process\nComplete and distribute accurate fit reports post-fitting sessions\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design intent into production-ready garments, balancing aesthetic and technical requirements\nRecommend appropriate adjustments to specifications, patterns, and construction methods to enhance garment fit, balance, and overall quality\nMaintain fit consistency across the Juniors category by applying standard grade rules aligned with customer or in-house guidelines\nEnsure adherence to the Product Lifecycle Calendar, particularly with timely Garment Fit Approvals\nCommunicate daily with overseas offices and vendor partners to resolve fit and quality concerns and meet production timelines\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field\n3-5 years of experience in technical design or apparel product development preferred\nStrong understanding of garment construction, fit standards, and grading\nProficient in measurement techniques and interpreting technical specifications\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\nExperience with PLM systems and Adobe Illustrator is a plus\nHybrid Work Schedule\n4 days a week in the office, 1 day work from home\nNew York Pay Rate $63,000 - $75,000\nWe strive to hire and nurture amazing talent.
