This role manages billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and financial tracking. The ideal Finance Manager is highly organized, accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable identifying problems and following them through to resolution.\nWhat this role will entail:\nFinancial Operations\nManage day-to-day accounting and finance processes. \nMaintain accurate financial records. \nMonthly financial close. \nMaintain financial documentation \nAccounts Receivable\nMonitor outstanding invoices and AR aging. \nCoordinate collections. \nMaintain LeadingIT's collections process. \nResolve billing discrepancies. \nEscalate past-due accounts appropriately. \nBilling\nCoordinate recurring client billing. \nConfirm billing aligns with client agreements. \nIdentify missed, incorrect, or inconsistent billing. \nCoordinate agreement changes with Operations and account management. \nAccounts Payable\nManage incoming vendor invoices. \nCoordinate invoice approvals. \nProcess payments. \nMaintain vendor records and payment documentation. \nPayroll & Employee Administration\nCoordinate employee reimbursements. \nPartner with HR on compensation, benefits, onboarding, and employee changes. \nReporting & Forecasting\nPrepare monthly financial reporting for Leadership. \nMaintain financial Scorecard metrics. \nAssist with annual budgeting. \nMaintain short-term cash-flow forecasting. \nTrack revenue, expenses, labor costs, and gross margin. \nAssist leadership in understanding variances. \nAcquisition Integration\nAssist with integrating acquired companies into LeadingIT financial systems. \nReconcile acquired billing, agreements, expenses, and client balances. \nMaintain acquisition financial tracking. \nKey Measurables\nAccurate and timely client billing. \nAR aging within company targets. \nMonthly reconciliations completed by 5th of the month. \nMonthly financial reporting delivered on schedule. \nBilling errors and missed revenue minimized. \nCash-flow forecast maintained. \nFinancial procedures documented. \nFinance to-dos completed without repeated follow-up. \nWhat we need from you (system requirements):\nDriven to succeed at work and in all of life, hard work required\nACCOUNTABLE to our clients as well as our company \nKeep a POSITIVE mindset with a solution focus. \nDesire for EXCELLENCE in what we do, all day every day. \nHUMBLY CONFIDENT you can make it happen, and if not, able to ask for help. \n4+ years of finance/accounting experience. \nExperience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting. \nStrong Excel skills. \nExperience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software. \nStrong attention to detail and follow-through. \nAbility to work independently and own financial processes. \nProfessional-services, MSP, SaaS, or recurring-revenue experience preferred. \nWhat Success Looks Like\nWithin the first year, LeadingIT has a predictable and disciplined financial operating rhythm.\nLeadership can confidently answer:\nWhere are we financially today? \nWhere will we be three, six, and twelve months from now? \nAre we making the margins we should be making? \nAre we staffed appropriately for our revenue? \nWhich clients and services are profitable? \nWhere is cash going? \nWhat financial risks are coming? \nWhat actions should we take? \nThis seat owns making sure those answers are available, accurate, and actionable.\nMore about us:\nAt LeadingIT, our people and our culture are at the heart of everything we do.
