Our mission is to bring fun to every household, which we achieve through teamwork and clever collaboration.\nPosition Summary\nPressman Toy Corporation is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Controller and work closely with colleagues across our international organization.\nWe are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and interested in taking ownership of assigned accounts payable responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable fundamentals, a willingness to learn new systems, and an interest in improving existing processes through technology and automation.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable Processing\nProcess vendor invoices accurately and on time in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, routing them for approval and scheduling payment.\nRecord inventory, shipping, and logistics invoices in partnership with the Logistics team, making sure costs reflect the actual flow of goods.\nReview, reconcile, and post employee expense reimbursement reports in line with company policy.\nPayments & Cash Management\nIssue vendor payments through the company's banking platform and apply them in Business Central.\nReconcile corporate credit card activity and process the related payments.\nPrepare the weekly cash forecast for management review and approval.\nCalculate and pay quarterly commissions to external sales representatives.\nVendor Management\nOnboard new vendors by collecting and verifying required documentation (e.g., W-9s, banking details) and setting them up in Business Central.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing vendors, resolving billing and payment questions promptly.\nManage the Accounts Payable inbox, responding to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.\nReconciliation, Compliance & Reporting\nReconcile the intercompany AP account for inventory received and invoiced.\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.\nPrepare and file annual 1099 forms.\nBusiness Partnership & Growth\nLead ad-hoc projects tied to management's strategic priorities, analyzing data and providing insights that inform business decisions.\nDevelop an end-to-end understanding of the business and collaborate across departments to improve processes and support growth.\nRequirements\nAn associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, or progress toward one. Equivalent work experience may substitute.\nStrong computer skills, including working proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nComfortable moving quickly between multiple online portals and systems.\nExcellent organizational skills and close attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.\nClear, professional written and verbal communication.\nAn analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about data, financial processes, and how the business operates.\nA collaborative, adaptable approach to working with Finance, Inventory, Supply Chain, and other teams.\nEagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP Concur, or EDI.\nWork Arrangement\nThis role is in-office during the training period.
