You’ll work hands-on with AWS and Linux production systems, improve CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks, and keep customer environments reliable and secure.\nWe’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot a production issue, improve how software is deployed, and automate recurring work to reduce manual effort and prevent problems.\nWhat you’ll do\nAWS and production operations\nManage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking.\n\nMonitor availability, performance, capacity, and infrastructure costs.\n\nTroubleshoot Linux, application, database, networking, DNS, and SSL/TLS issues.\n\nManage backups and test restoration and disaster-recovery procedures.\n\nRespond to production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement lasting fixes.\n\nDevOps and automation\nMaintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related deployment tools.\n\nWork with development and QA teams to make releases consistent, repeatable, and easier to troubleshoot.\n\nManage deployment configurations, environment variables, secrets, and artifact repositories.\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and routine maintenance using scripts and infrastructure as code.\n\nImprove deployment validation and rollback procedures.\n\nMaintain clear operational documentation and runbooks.\n\nSecurity and access\nMaintain appropriate IAM permissions, MFA, VPN access, security groups, and employee access controls.\n\nInvestigate security alerts and address vulnerabilities using tools such as AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.\n\nApply patches and maintain security logging and monitoring.\n\nSupport SOC 2 evidence collection, control monitoring, and remediation tracking.\n\nTickets and reporting\nOwn infrastructure, deployment, and security tickets from investigation through resolution.\n\nCommunicate issues, business impact, and progress clearly to technical and nontechnical teams.\n\nPrepare customer platform usage reports for Customer Success and infrastructure usage and cost reports for internal teams.\n\nWhat you bring\n5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or systems administration, including practical AWS experience.\n\nStrong Linux administration and production troubleshooting skills.\n\nHands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Jenkins.\n\nExperience with Git, artifact repositories, deployment automation, and release management.\n\nScripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar tools.\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.\n\nPractical knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, DNS, firewalls, logging, and monitoring.\n\nClear communication skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.\n\nA degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is welcome.\nExperience with PostgreSQL, SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and AWS certifications is an asset.\nAbout Limelight\nLimelight is a modern financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform that helps finance teams streamline budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting.
