You will own the entire direction as a business and product - from custody infrastructure and KYC/AML to deposits, withdrawals, Travel Rule, fraud controls, provider relationships, and customer experience.\nYour goal is to build a system where compliance protects the company without becoming an unnecessary barrier for legitimate customers.\nYou will own the strategy, economics, product roadmap, delivery, key metrics, and engineering team behind the direction.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness & Product Ownership\nOwn Custody & Compliance end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, priorities, budget, and business results.\nDefine and track the key metrics for deposits, withdrawals, KYC, fraud, and customer activation.\nImprove the speed and conversion of customer onboarding and money movement.\nBalance risk prevention with customer experience and commercial impact.\nBuild financial and operational models and make decisions based on measurable business outcomes.\nWork directly with C-level stakeholders on strategy and priorities.\nCustody & Money Movement\nOwn custody infrastructure and relationships with custody providers.\nOwn deposit and withdrawal flows across the GoMining ecosystem.\nImprove transaction processing speed, reliability, and success rates.\nIdentify bottlenecks and continuously improve the customer experience around money movement.\nManage incidents and critical issues related to customer funds.\nKYC, AML & Travel Rule\nOwn the operational implementation of KYC, AML, and Travel Rule requirements.\nBuild scalable compliance operations, including case management, decision SLAs, escalation processes, and operational workflows.\nEnsure compliance controls are effective without unnecessarily reducing conversion.\nContinuously analyze false positives and missed fraud cases.\nWork closely with Legal and Risk while maintaining ownership of the customer and business outcome.\nFraud & Risk\nDevelop fraud prevention guardrails across deposits, withdrawals, and customer verification.\nMonitor fraud losses and false-positive rates.\nBuild data-driven approaches to identifying suspicious activity.\nEnsure risk controls scale together with transaction volume.\nProviders & Partnerships\nOwn relationships with custody, KYC, AML, and infrastructure providers.\nNegotiate commercial and operational terms.\nReduce dependency on individual providers where appropriate.\nDrive integrations together with engineering teams.\nHold providers accountable for agreed service levels.\nTeam & Delivery\nLead a dedicated engineering team and work directly with the Tech Lead.\nOwn priorities, backlog, releases, and delivery.\nSet clear goals and measurable outcomes for the team.\nHire, develop, and make performance decisions when required.\nUse AI and automation to keep the team lean and increase execution speed.\nRequirements\nStrong hands-on experience in crypto custody, payments, KYC/AML, or related financial infrastructure.\nExperience owning custody and compliance processes in a crypto exchange, wallet, broker, crypto bank, BaaS, custody platform, or similar environment.\nPractical experience with platforms such as Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, Uphold, or similar.\nStrong understanding of KYC, AML, Travel Rule, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention.\nExperience building operational compliance processes at scale.\nExperience working directly with external providers and negotiating commercial terms.\nStrong product and commercial mindset.\nAbility to understand how compliance decisions affect conversion, revenue, and customer experience.\nStrong analytical skills and comfort making decisions based on data.\nTechnical literacy and ability to work directly with
