prevention systems - not a manual fraud operations position.\nResponsibilities\nFraud Detection\nDesign and develop fraud detection systems for payments, wallets, authentication, and user activity.\nDetect account takeover, payment fraud, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and other abuse scenarios.\nBuild real-time fraud pipelines and event processing systems.\nDevelop automated fraud prevention mechanisms.\nRisk Engine\nBuild and improve fraud rules, velocity controls, and dynamic risk scoring.\nDesign decision engines for transaction approval, review, or rejection.\nContinuously optimize fraud detection accuracy while minimizing false positives.\nImprove fraud models using behavioral and transactional data.\nData & Analytics\nAnalyze transaction patterns, user behavior, device intelligence, and risk signals.\nWork with large-scale event streams and transactional datasets.\nCreate internal investigation and monitoring tools for Fraud, Support, and Compliance teams.\nInvestigate emerging fraud patterns and rapidly deploy countermeasures.\nEngineering\nDevelop scalable backend services supporting fraud prevention.\nBuild APIs and internal tooling for risk evaluation.\nOptimize latency for real-time fraud decisions.\nCollaborate closely with Product, Payments, Data, and Platform teams.\nRequirements\n4+ years of software engineering experience.\nExperience building fraud prevention, risk, payment, banking, fintech, or security systems.\nStrong backend development experience (Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar).\nExperience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.\nStrong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.\nUnderstanding of payment flows, authentication, and transactional systems.\nExperience designing real-time decision engines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nFluent English.\nNice to have\nExperience in crypto, Web3, or blockchain.\nExperience with Kafka, ClickHouse, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.\nExperience with machine learning models for fraud detection.\nKnowledge of AML, KYC, or payment risk systems.\nExperience with device
