you will drive the technical direction of the team while staying deeply involved in production development, architecture, and solving complex engineering challenges.\nYou will lead a small cross-functional team consisting of 3 Software Engineers and 2 QA Engineers.\nOur core backend stack is Go, so we are looking for someone with strong commercial Golang experience and a solid background in building scalable, distributed systems.\nWe also expect you to actively leverage AI tools to improve engineering quality, productivity, and development velocity.\nResponsibilities\nLead the technical direction of the team and own key architecture decisions.\nDesign and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go.\nStay hands-on with production code and solve complex technical challenges.\nDesign reliable, scalable, and maintainable distributed systems.\nLead code reviews and maintain high engineering standards across the team.\nImprove system performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.\nIdentify technical risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.\nMentor Software Engineers and support their technical growth.\nHelp increase team productivity and improve engineering efficiency.\nCollaborate closely with Product, QA, and other engineering teams.\nContinuously improve development processes, engineering practices, and delivery quality.\nActively use AI-powered development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and improve code quality.\nRequirements\n7+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong commercial experience with Go (Golang).\nStrong backend and software engineering background.\nExperience designing scalable architectures and distributed systems.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns.\nSolid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs.\nExperience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.\nExperience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience leading engineers and driving technical and architectural decisions.\nStrong hands-on approach -
