Senior Solution Architect

Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical architecture, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, integrations, and security.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, frameworks, and third-party solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution proposals, and proof-of-concepts where required.
- Define integration strategies and ensure seamless integration between internal and external systems.
- Review existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, scalability, and cost reduction.
- Establish and maintain architecture standards, design principles, and technology best practices.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and engineering teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients, partners, and senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements related to performance, reliability, availability, security, compliance, and maintainability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly cloud, distributed systems, AI/ML, APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture patterns.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 8 - 10 years of overall experience in software engineering, technical consulting, solution architecture, or a related technology role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and system integration.
- Experience with databases, messaging systems, caching, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of security, scalability, performance, availability, and disaster-recovery principles.
- Experience creating architecture documentation, solution proposals, technical designs, and architecture diagrams.
- Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business problems into technology solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience mentoring developers/technical teams and providing technical direction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant cloud/architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or TOGAF would be an advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and exposure to modern DevOps practices is preferred.
