A warm private family in Florissant is looking for an experienced and energetic Live-In Nanny to join their household from the end of August or September 2026.

The family currently has a 4-year-old boy, who is very active, energetic, and enjoys being on the move. The ideal nanny should be physically active and able to keep up with him, run around, play outdoors, and engage him in age-appropriate activities.

The family is also expecting a baby, so experience with young children and babies would be highly appreciated.

The family places a very high importance on housekeeping and cleanliness. They are looking for someone who is genuinely experienced in maintaining a home to a very high standard, with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness and organisation. The ideal candidate should take pride in her work and notice the small details without needing to be asked.

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Providing attentive and engaging care for the 4-year-old boy
• Organising age-appropriate activities, games, outings, and outdoor play
• Keeping up with an energetic and active child
• Supporting the child’s daily routines, including meals, bath time, and bedtime
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Helping with the baby as the family grows
• Supporting the children’s laundry and keeping their belongings and areas organised

Housekeeping

• Taking primary responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of the family home
• Carrying out thorough and detailed cleaning of the household
• Maintaining the home to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Paying close attention to details and ensuring that no areas are overlooked
• Keeping all rooms, surfaces and living areas clean, tidy and well organised
• Managing children’s laundry and ensuring their belongings are properly organised
• Taking initiative in identifying and completing household tasks that need to be done
• Supporting the family with additional household duties when required

The successful candidate should be equally comfortable with both childcare and housekeeping and understand that maintaining the home to a high standard is an important part of the role.

Requirements

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced as a nanny, ideally with children around 4 years old and/or babies
• Checkable references
• Very energetic, active, and physically fit
• Warm, caring, patient, and reliable
• Proactive and able to organise activities independently
• Very strong in cleaning and housekeeping
• Organised, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy
• Comfortable working in a family with bilingual children
• Flexible and willing to support the family as their needs evolve

Benefits

Salary : CHF 3400.- net per month

Accommodation : The nanny will have a private studio apartment located within the family’s building, providing a good level of independence and privacy while living close to the family.
