Our engineers take end-to-end ownership of their work, with the freedom to experiment, innovate, and contribute to shaping the product.\nOur Tech Stack\nOur tech stack is built for scalability, efficiency, and flexibility in data processing\n\nOur backend is primarily developed in Kotlin and Python, with a focus on modular microservices handling various aspects of the data pipeline, including orchestration, integration, and processing.\n\nWe deploy on Kubernetes, leveraging technologies like Apache Calcite, DuckDB, Pandas, andPolars for high-performance data processing\n\nWe prioritize distributed architecture and scalability, crafting high-quality, test-driven code while influencing technical solutions, best practices, and API design -both internally and externally\n\nWhat you'll be doing\nBuilding a fast, distributed query engine using Kotlin and Apache Calcite.\n\nDeveloping algorithms for parsing and transpiling into SQL from an internal query language (MAQL) based on semantic data models.\n\nDesigning APIs, writing test-driven code, and shaping product direction with your team\n\nCollaborating with Product, QA, and Architects in a product-focused engineering team\n\nWhat do we expect from you?\nYou have experience delivering a variety of backend features.
