This role bridges daily execution with leadership by mentoring junior staff, assisting with vendor coordination, and supporting warehouse organization. The Inventory Control Tech II is expected to operate independently with minimal supervision and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReceive and unload items from delivery trucks in a timely and organized manner.\nDocument received items using inventory platforms such as Monday Boards.\nStore finished goods and packaging material in a clean, orderly fashion.\nDeliver materials to workstations and storage points both physically and via digital systems.\nPull and stage packaging material for Resupply Requests or Jobs with a high degree of accuracy.\nPerform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.\nRelocate inventory and assist with cleanups and general warehouse maintenance.\nSafely operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks (manual/electric).\nMaintain transaction rigor to minimize inventory discrepancies (target: ≤1 error/day).\nAdhere to compliance procedures as required by state regulations.\nFollow all SOPs, operational guidelines, and verbal directives.\nMaintain professionalism and a positive team-oriented attitude.\nSeek guidance from senior team members and escalate discrepancies as needed.\nGuide and mentor junior team members in task execution and warehouse best practices.\nTrain new inventory staff and serve as a resource for troubleshooting.\nAct as liaison during on-site supplier visits, assisting with deliveries and pickups.\nAssist in leading day-to-day warehouse operations.\nBe eligible and maintain qualifications to be insured as a driver for company vehicles.\nConduct local deliveries and pickups using company-owned box trucks or freightliners.\nHelp enforce safety procedures, inventory handling policies, and transaction integrity standards.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to the Inventory Manager.\nMaintain a professional demeanor, modeling company values and expectations.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.\nAbility to work independently and maintain focus.\nComfortable using and learning new software tools.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.\nEffective interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong ethics, reliability, and a positive attitude.\nWillingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.\nReliable transportation.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and other inventory software platforms (e.g., Monday Boards).\nForklift operation (certification preferred).\nSkilled in use of pallet jacks (standard and electric).\nStrong computer skills and basic math skills.\nHigh attention to detail and organization.\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record.\nEligible to be insured as a driver for company vehicles (box truck/freightliner).\nExperience guiding or leading small teams or training coworkers.\nStrong organizational and leadership skills.\nComfortable interacting professionally with external vendors and suppliers.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3+ years of inventory experience\nExperience using data entry software (i.e., Excel)\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.\nAbility to work in various environmental conditions (hot, humid, low light).\nAbility to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.\nMust wear personal protective gear as required.\nAbility to operate and drive box trucks or similar delivery vehicles.\nMust meet physical requirements to safely load and unload deliveries.\nAt Good Day Farm, we are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive environment for all.
