This position is responsible for the process, procedure, and systems to ensure accurate and timely product inventory audit and controls.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nConducts inventory management in the METRC inventory system (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance, statewide cannabis tracking software)\nFocuses on process, procedure, and systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting of product inventory audit and controls.\nAssures compliance with state regulations by having a strong understanding of METRC rules.\nSets audit schedule and performs audits in all departments.\nSchedules testing of products and create transfer manifests.\nEnsures all data reported to METRC is timely, accurate, and compliant within 24 hours.\nMonitor stock levels on METRC tags.\nTracks the movement of product throughout the production process.\nWrites METRC SOPs and conducts internal training on them.\nAudits Inventory Control Forms within METRC to identify discrepancies.\nWorks with management and team members to reduce errors in data entry and required reporting / records maintenance.\nPerforms audits to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations.\nDesigns processes for verification of manifests to ensure proper information is correctly filled and completed prior to shipping.\nManages the METRC team’s daily operations with METRC Manager.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge\nState/Federal background checks required\nAdvanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)\nOutstanding attention to detail\nAbility to multi-task and establish priority of work\nMust have strong organizational skills \nAbility to manage a team and demonstrate leadership by actions and lead as an example\nAvailability to work weekends and holidays as needed\nAbility to effectively communicate well with all levels including direct reports, peers, and executives\nEducation Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent; some college or college graduate preferred\n1 year experience with METRC in the cannabis industry preferred\nConsiderable experience developing and working with Excel spreadsheets\n1 year inventory control experience preferred\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, carrying, sitting, and repetitive motions\nMust be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds, manage stairs, and extended period sitting and standing\nAt Good Day Farm, we are committed to building a diverse team and an inclusive environment for all.
