In this role, you will be responsible for technical due diligence, elaborating new building design, building permit application processes, tendering infrastructure and construction works and end-to-end management of technical execution. Next to that your technical expertise will be a critical asset in our transition from a pure play real estate company to an integrated real estate and energy services business.\nMore concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to\nAssess the technical potential of landbank opportunities;\nPerforming technical and environmental due diligences on to be acquired brownfield sites;\nTechnical lead on the technical design of new building concepts (e.g. datacenters, multi-level logistics real estate, etc);\nLead the building and MEP design process related to logistics/datacentre designs in collaboration with customers, architects, advisors and other stakeholders;\nDrive the permitting process, including supervision of all required documentation, negotiating with local authorities in this regard, with the overall aim to secure permits as effectively as possible;\nLead contractor tendering including contract negotiation and manage construction projects end-to-end;\nPrepare all technical documentation and specifications as well as cost estimates to be used during the commercial process;\nSupport all power and energy related works, including upgrading of grid connections and roll-out of new energy infrastructure (batteries, PV, EV charging etc);\nDo you recognize yourself?\nHolding a Master degree as civil engineer (construction) or equivalent based on experience;\nDemonstrated experience of at least five years in managing, advising or engineering large scale and complex construction and/or MEP system projects in all its aspects (structural, MEP, environmental effects, fire safety, sustainability etc);\nStrong understanding of technical installation concepts (e.g. HVAC and/or electrical installations) for complex MEP projects such as datacentres;\nExperience on power, energy or utility projects is a plus;\nFamiliar with local permitting regulations in Flanders is a plus;\nCombine technical expertise and strong project management skills, ability to coordinate and work on several projects simultaneously;\nSelf-propelled entrepreneur and deal-maker with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Highly success and results-oriented;\nStrongly developed sense of responsibility, feeling for financial results, risk management, quality, anticipation, organization and planning;\nFluent in English, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.\nNot sure if you fit the profile?
