As our Continental European data centre portfolio grows, we are strengthening the internal capability that assures security systems from design through operational use.\nThe Technical Security Program Manager will act as the technical authority for security-system readiness, acceptance and sustained performance. This is not a commissioning-only role: approximately 70% of the position supports design, construction, testing and RFS readiness, while approximately 30% is dedicated to post-RFS stabilisation, lifecycle assurance, defect resolution, optimisation and continuous improvement.\nMore concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to own and develop:\nCommissioning StrategyOwn the security commissioning and assurance framework from design review through RFS, including test stages, evidence requirements, acceptance criteria and independent validation points.\n\nDesign and integration assuranceReview security designs and integration architecture to confirm that systems are buildable, resilient, testable, maintainable and aligned with operational requirements.\n\nTechnical deliveryLead configuration, functional testing, integrated systems testing, diagnostics, remediation and performance optimisation across core security platforms.\n\nConstruction qualityInspect cabling, containment, devices, field panels, control rooms and enabling infrastructure, and enforce quality gates before energisation, testing and handover.\n\nReadiness and acceptanceMaintain objective evidence, configuration baselines and decision records, report risks clearly, and advise the Physical Security Lead and Operations Team on readiness and acceptance.\n\nVendor governanceDirect integrators, contractors, commissioning agents and specialist vendors without transferring internal ownership of assurance, results or acceptance decisions.\n\nPost-RFS stabilisationLead the security systems stabilisation period after RFS, track defects to closure and verify that temporary overrides, workarounds and incomplete configurations are removed.\n\nLifecycle assuranceMonitor operational performance, analyse recurring faults and integration failures, and coordinate corrective improvements with Operations, ICT, vendors and platform owners.\n\nStandards and capabilityConvert operational feedback and lessons learned into improved standards, test scripts, configuration controls, training and repeatable assurance practices across the portfolio.\n\nDo you recognize yourself?\nA degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, building services, construction management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.\nAt least seven years of experience in electronic security systems engineering, commissioning or technical assurance, including complex integrated systems.\nPractical experience in data centres or comparable critical infrastructure, with a strong understanding of operational risk, resilience and controlled change.\nDeep working knowledge of access control and identity systems, CCTV/VMS, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, control rooms and interfaces with ICT, BMS, fire and monitoring platforms.\nProven ability to troubleshoot technical and integration issues, evaluate objective test evidence and drive defects through to sustainable resolution.\nExperience leading contractors, integrators and multidisciplinary stakeholders across design, construction, testing, handover and live operations.\nStrong judgement and clear communication, with the ability to explain technical risk, cost and operational consequences to leadership, customers and delivery teams.\nProfessional-level English and willingness to travel across the Continental European data centre portfolio as project and operational needs require. \nHow will we reward you?\nAt Goodman, we know that our people are the driving force behind our success.
