It's been an incredible journey, and with that kind of growth comes a whole lot of interesting challenges (and, let's be honest, plenty of admin to keep everything running smoothly and compliantly).\nWe've built a strong foundation, but there's plenty of opportunity to make the experience of working at Goodstack even better.\nThat's where you come in.\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys People Operations, gets satisfaction from making complicated things simple, and cares just as much about the little details as the bigger picture. Someone who takes ownership, asks thoughtful questions, and doesn't wait to be told what needs doing.\nYou'll have plenty of autonomy, the opportunity to shape how we work, and a close partnership with the Head of People as we continue scaling the function. We don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect curiosity, good judgement, accountability and a willingness to learn.\nIf you're the kind of person who gets a little too excited about a beautifully organised process, we'll get along brilliantly.\nAs People Operations Generalist, your mission will be to:\nOwn day-to-day People operations across the employee lifecycle.\n\nPrepare contracts, amendments, and employment documentation.\n\nRun smooth onboarding, employee-change, and offboarding processes.\n\nMaintaining accurate HRIS and employee data.\n\nCoordinating our EOR platform and international employee administration.\n\nPreparing payroll inputs and administering employee benefits.\n\nSupporting immigration, sponsorship and right-to-work administration.\n\nActing as the first point of contact for routine employee People queries.\n\nCoordinating performance, progression and compensation-cycle administration.\n\nMaintaining People policies, templates and internal documentation.\n\nProducing recurring People data and reporting.\n\nIdentifying opportunities to simplify and automate People processes.\n\nSupporting engagement and employee-experience initiatives.\n\nAfter 3 months, success will look like:\nOperational\n100% accurate contracts/employee documentation.\n\nOnboarding ready before Day 1.\n\nPayroll inputs completed accurately/on time.\n\nHRIS data maintained accurately.\n\nRoutine employee queries resolved in a timely manner.\n\nEOR/immigration deadlines proactively tracked.\n\nLeverage for the Head of People\nMaterially reduce the amount of routine People Ops execution.\n\nRecurring People reporting produced without manual assembling.\n\nPeople processes documented and repeatable.\n\nThis role is a perfect match for you if you:\nHave experience running People/HR operations in a fast-moving organisation.\n\nAre highly organised and genuinely strong at getting the details right.\n\nCommunicate clearly and know when something needs escalating.\n\nCan independently manage recurring processes and deadlines.\n\nAre comfortable working across HRIS, payroll, benefits and employee documentation.\n\nHave a good baseline knowledge of UK employment practices.\n\nAre comfortable supporting employees across multiple countries/EOR arrangements.\n\nLook for the simplest effective solution rather than adding process for its own sake.\n\nHandle confidential information with excellent judgement.\n\nAre comfortable working in an environment where priorities change quickly.\n\nBonus if you have knowledge or love of:\nBuilding automations that enable teams beyond your function.\n\nConnecting with people to understand their motivations and how we can build the best culture where work = professional fulfilment.\n\nBeing curious and an active learner for your craft.\n\nTea and smoothie drinking\n\nWhat you can expect upon joining our team\nSalary reviews and share options becoming an integral part of our growth and share in the company's success\nGoodstack’s Workplace Giving\nVitality Plus - Private health insurance\n£250 Brighten your day annual budget\n£1000 Learning & development annual budget\nGoodstack library\nTasty Tuesday!
