Responsible for the management, and supervision of team within established budgets and goals.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required of the Assistant Manager, Outlet:\nResponsible for the day to day operation of the Outlet.\nDirects the rotation of bins/goods in the Outlet store in order to meet allocation targets.\nAccountable for achieving revenue goals, operating within budget and loss prevention.\nResponsible for cash management including reconciling cash receipts. \nProvides direction and supervision to staff, assuring the Outlet operates effectively, that activities are coordinated and team works collaboratively with other departments in the DC. \nUses space and storage in the distribution center efficiently and operate with a clearly defined floor plan that is consistently monitored and reset to standards. \nMonitors inventory of supplies.\nAssures compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).\nResponsible for ensuring proper identification and removal of hazardous material to designated site.\nOpens and closes the store at the proper times and performs mid-shift duties\nTrains, coaches staff. Provides performance feedback to Store Manager.\nCompletes weekly/daily sales reports, upkeeps inventory, orders stock, maintains sales log, processes staff payroll, schedules personnel, and tallies money daily.\nManages customer complaints regarding salespeople, merchandise and/or store policy in a tactful and efficient manner.\nPerforms work activities of subordinates,\nCollaborates with other departments.\nAssigns and maintains work schedules that ensures availability of staff to meet the business needs. Provides coverage as needed.\nAttends training opportunities that enhance job related skills.\nExercises discretion, confidentiality, and sensitivity.\nPerforms duties in accordance with Goodwill’s standard policies and procedures. \nOther duties as assigned.\n\nLEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY\nEmployee requires little supervision. Work is not regularly reviewed by a supervisor.\nEmployee exercises discretion within area of responsibility.\nEmployee advises others within the organization on matters within area of expertise.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOversees the work of others within department.\nProvides staff performance feedback to supervisor. \nRecommends hires/terminations.\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent.\nA minimum of three (3) years’ sales/retail store experience with at least two (2) years supervising staff.\nAbility to lead a team and promote a team environment working effectively and collaboratively to achieve goals.\nMust be able to work with a diverse group of customers and staff, and with individuals with disabilities.\nOral and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nExperience with Microsoft Office. \nBilingual (esp.
