To that end, we believe Goodwill’s strength lies in the diversity of those we employ, educate, and serve.\nCompetitive weekly pay\nAccess to our Associate Success Program for resources and barrier navigation.\nComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans\nGenerous paid time off (PTO) and holidays\nAssociate shopping discount and celebratory activities\nCareer advancement opportunities\nFree training and development programs\nYour Typical Week:\nOnboarding:\nProvide full-cycle onboarding & orientation support, including new-hire processing, compliance administration, and New Associate Orientation facilitation.\nAssist associates at different stages of the employee lifecycle and connect them with the right HR resources.\nMaintain accurate employee databases, records, and reports.\nEngagement, Education and Associate Relations:\nAnswer routine associate questions about organizational policies, procedures, benefits, and HR processes.\nBuild positive working relationships and learn the needs of assigned business segments.\nSupport the HR Manager with employee relations matters, including workplace investigations when concerns are raised.\nPartner with the HR Manager on termination matters and conduct exit interviews as needed.\nHelp coordinate associate recognition and engagement activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, associate education, and engagement.\nAssist with the development and modification of training programs.\nCollaborate with subject-matter experts on cross-functional projects and special assignments.\nEmployment Lifecycle and Compliance\nProvide backup support across payroll, onboarding, benefits, talent acquisition, and compliance.\nAs needed, review electronic timecards and support accurate, timely payroll processing.\nAid in preparation of various HR reports and analytics that support informed decision making and strategic planning by leadership.\nHelp associates with benefits enrollment and vendor service questions.\nAssist with DOT processing and file management.\nMaintain working knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.\nCommunicate relevant workplace updates to assigned client groups as appropriate.\nContribute to the organization’s mission by completing other duties as assigned.\nTeam Support and Additional Duties:\nProvide excellent customer service to all customers.\nThis role flexes between corporate support and time embedded within operations.\nLocal travel within Southeast Georgia is expected, approximately 25% to 50% per month, to support our workforce.\nOccasional weekend work may be needed for special events.\nWhat you’ll need:\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or proven direct experience with independent proficiency across HR functional areas.\nMinimum of three years of progressive, related HR experience, including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor with associates.\nIntermediate to advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, conflict resolution, and organizational influence skills.\nAbility to create and analyze trends and metrics for assigned client groups.\nValid driver’s license and ability to be insured under the organization’s vehicle insurance policy.\nAbility to travel throughout the Southeast Georgia Territory.\nAbility to sit, stand, grasp, push pull, lift and carry up to 20 pounds.\nAbout Us:\nGoodwill is an EEO employer and is committed to serving members of the military, Veterans and their families by encouraging them to apply for vacancies that fit their area of knowledge and/or expertise.
