Our Program Leaders make sure each environment is held to a high standard of safety and cleanliness.\nWe offer:\nCompetitive compensation with paid benefits through our federal contracts \nVacation Time & Federal Holidays for a work-life balance\nCase Managers on-site to assist you as you gain additional skills\nOpportunity to receive Overtime Pay\nJob placements located on military bases and at federal buildings\nFREE training, and more!\nYour Typical Day:\nLeading custodial crews to complete assigned tasks in conformance with contract requirements.\nCommunicating and training Custodians on tasks while ensuring that work is completed in the time allotted, using safe practices, and within contract specifications.\nResponsible for ensuring that all Custodians have the equipment, supplies, and knowledge of how to use each prior to the start of each shift.\nDocument the timely completion of work and any discrepancies versus standards using computer technology.\nContinuously works with Custodians to increase effectiveness and improve custodial techniques by providing hands on training and support.\nWorks with shift supervisors, project management, and case managers to develop performance feedback that will assist in the growth of Custodians.\nCompletes requested daily paperwork and reports needed to ensure shift operations are operating effectively, such as time & attendance functions, maintenance logs, vehicle inspections, issuance of uniforms, and more.\nMonitors supply & equipment usage; communicates to management, as appropriate, the effectiveness of those materials and needs for additional products or reordering.\nAssist employees in maintaining a safe working environment by following safety procedures.\nAccomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.\nYour Qualifications:\n1-3 years previous custodial experience or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.\nMust be 21 years of age and Class C Driver's License\nProficiency in reading, writing and basic arithmetic (add, subtract, divide and multiply). Strong written and oral communication skills.\nMust be able to utilize technology as required, including computers and phone/tablet application\nMust be able to meet all required security clearances.\nAbility to work with people from diverse backgrounds.\nAbility to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently\nAbility to handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting and moving merchandise up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, with or without accommodations.\nFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary\nGoodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc.
