To that end, we believe Goodwill’s strength lies in the diversity of those we employ, educate, and serve.\nCompetitive weekly pay\nComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans\nGenerous paid time off (PTO) and holidays\nAssociate shopping discount\nCelebratory activities \nCareer advancement opportunities\nFree training and development programs\nYour Typical Day:\nDemonstrate and uphold Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission, vision, and values in all aspects of your work.\nWork closely with site leaders to advance operational efficiencies and effectiveness, focusing on Donated Goods best practices.\nCollaborate with supervisors and managers to develop, implement, and execute on-site training requirements.\nMonitor and ensure timely and consistent completion of training modules through existing tracking systems.\nAssess standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure alignment between training and actual performance.\n Issue weekly updates and reminders to operational leaders, ensuring adherence to the training curriculum.\n Partner with supervisors to identify training gaps and ensure availability of resources for on-site implementation.\nConduct hands-on field training in areas such as donation acquisition, production & pricing, customer service, and register operations.\nOversee all aspects of assigned development programs, including pre- and post-work, coaching, and tracking progress toward course objectives.\nAssist in the design, development, and delivery of training materials and programs.\nProvide regular updates on content, materials, and other relevant information post-program completion to ensure continuous learning.\nDevelop a strong understanding of processes across all operational areas.\nActively engage with operational leadership to assess and advance training initiatives.\nPerform other tasks as assigned by management to support operational success and team development.\nContribute to Goodwill's mission through the advancement of training, development, and education efforts.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).\n1-3 years of experience in training or development within a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and effectively convey information.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.\nPassion for learning and development, with a desire to help others succeed.\nUnderstanding of performance metrics and data analysis.\nKnowledge of standard office equipment and business applications, including PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.\nAbility to conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for various locations.\nStrong initiative, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.\nHigh level of confidentiality and professionalism.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nWillingness to travel to various locations as required.\nValid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle policy.\nFrequently lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to push or pull up to 50 pounds using equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.\nVisual acuity for tasks such as depth perception, peripheral vision, and distinguishing basic color.\nThis role requires the ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision, where adaptability and initiative are key.\nJoin us in our commitment to sustainability and making a positive contribution to our community.
