Join our team and work for an organization that will help you grow personally and professionally while giving you the satisfaction of knowing that your efforts are helping others reach their potential.\nYou can learn more about our 100+ stores, donation centers and career centers and how our mission helps local job seekers at goodwillng.org.\nWhat we offer:\nWeekly paychecks\nPaid time off for vacation and holidays\n25% employee discount\nHealth, dental and vision insurance for staff and their families\nAccess to free job skills training at Goodwill Career Centers\nWhat we’re looking for:\nAs a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for receiving, moving, sorting and storing donated merchandise while providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nReceive and appropriately sort and store incoming donated goods and products\nSort and place donated goods or items in gaylords or shelves according to organizational standards\nCreate and fill donated goods in bales, crates and other containers\nVerifies and maintains inventory controls by recording amounts of donated goods received or distributed through the inventory system\nPrepare donated goods for shipment to stores\nMaintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area and workstations neat, clean and clutter free\nEnsure a clean storage environment by performing light cleaning duties as needed\nAdhere to and be knowledgeable of agency and departmental policies and procedures\nResponsible for wearing the proper safety equipment\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\nOne to two (1-2) years of warehouse experience\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nEffective interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills \nPreferences:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPrior military experience\nWorking Environment Conditions/Requirements:\nMust start employment in acceptable safety work shoes\nMust be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust.\nMust be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation\nDoes this sound like a place for you?
