Drawing on their experience and substantive knowledge, they take ownership of complex assignments, anticipate case-team needs, and help identify effective approaches to the work.\nAntitrust Litigation Paralegal Specialist\nThe Antitrust Litigation Paralegal Specialist will be an integral member of Goodwin's TIL (Trials, Investigations & Litigation) team, supporting attorneys on complex antitrust matters through all phases of litigation, from case inception and discovery through trial and appeal. The role requires an experienced litigation paralegal who can independently manage significant case responsibilities, coordinate complex discovery, and case activity, support court filings, and deposition preparation, and help drive trial readiness. The ideal candidate will bring strong complex-litigation experience, sound judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, document-intensive matters.\nWhat You Will Do:\nManage substantive paralegal responsibilities across all phases of complex antitrust litigation, including case development, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appellate proceedings.\nCoordinate complex discovery matters, including document collection, review, production, and management of electronically stored information.\nAssist with the development and administration of document review workflows and databases and coordinate with attorneys, discovery teams, vendors, and other case resources.\nManage document productions and maintain organized, accurate case files and supporting materials.\nCollect and organize information and materials from clients, opposing parties and third parties, including electronic data and physical evidence, and maintain appropriate chain-of-custody records.\nPrepare and maintain chronologies, factual summaries, memoranda, charts, timelines and other case materials for attorney review and use.\nAssist with deposition preparation, including organization of exhibits, witness materials, prior testimony, and other relevant case information.\nPrepare and maintain privilege logs and support other privilege-review processes.\nConduct factual and legal research using public records, court resources, and electronic information sources, and communicate findings clearly and concisely.\nPerform and oversee cite checking, proofreading and quality control of briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.\nSupport court filings and monitor applicable court rules, procedures, and deadlines.\nResearch prior testimony and publications of expert witnesses and organize expert-related materials.\nCoordinate pretrial and trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, trial databases, logistics and trial-site support; attend trials as needed.\nCompile complex factual and case information into clear charts, graphs, timelines, and other demonstratives.\nTake ownership of assigned workstreams, anticipate case-team needs and independently address issues as they arise.\nCollaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, case assistants, other Legal Services teams and outside vendors to ensure efficient and effective execution of case responsibilities.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent qualifying work experience required.\n7-10+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience, with significant experience supporting complex litigation matters.\nAntitrust litigation experience strongly preferred.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex discovery, document productions, depositions, court filings, and trial preparation.\nExperience working with large document collections and e-discovery/document review platforms.\nStrong understanding of litigation procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge independently to sophisticated matters.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nSound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues independently while knowing when attorney guidance is appropriate.\nAbility to understand the broader objectives of a matter and anticipate the needs of attorneys and clients.\nAbility to carry knowledge and best practices from one matter to another and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.\nStrong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of geographically dispersed case teams.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort working with litigation technology and e-discovery tools.\nProactively maintains knowledge of developments, procedures, and best practices relevant to the practice group.\nBenefits and More\nAt Goodwin, you will discover your next career opportunity with a rewarding compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including:\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n\nLife and disability insurance\n\nRetirement & Savings Plan\n\nEmergency back-up child and adult care\n\nPaid vacation, sick time off, and holidays\n\nProfessional development and career advancement opportunities\n\nEmployee recognition and reward programs\n\nEmployee wellness and assistance programs\n\nEmployee discounts and perks\n\nThis position is eligible for overtime: YesThe Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: $150,000.00 -
