This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate (or equivalent) to begin a career in the compliance sector.\nWhat You Will Do:\nScreening client and matter party names using our risk screening tool and recording the results\nObtaining and reviewing information for corporates and private individuals;\nUndertake risk analysis for matters on which Goodwin is engaged, particularly in relation to existing clients;\nEscalating any adverse findings or high risk issues to the AML Team for further review;\nManaging the AML Team workload via our CRM system by assigning new requests to team members, cancelling duplicate requests and creating new ones where needed;\nRecording data into Excel spreadsheets for internal record keeping;\nInputting data into the internal client management database;\nAssisting with ongoing monitoring of high risk parties where necessary; and\nPerforming reviews of existing AML files and updating outdated information when needed.\nWho You Are:\nIntellectually curious with the confidence to follow up compliance concerns using your own initiative;\nAble to conduct independent research on companies and individuals;\nA team player who can work effectively with others;\nConfidence using and navigating a variety of online databases including our CRM system;\nProven organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure;\nExcellent attention to detail and have strong written and oral communication skills;
