This individual collaborates regularly with attorneys, paralegals, clients, eDiscovery vendors, and other members of the firm across offices to manage work on multiple matters simultaneously.\nThe eDiscovery Project Manager will maintain billable hours target of 1,000 hours.\nWhat You Will Do:\nUnder the direction and supervision of the firm’s Director of eDiscovery, the eDiscovery Project Manager will:\nCollaborate with case team to evaluate eDiscovery project needs and develop a comprehensive eDiscovery project plan.\n\nMonitor project progress and advise on adjustments to eDiscovery project plan to ensure project milestones are met.\n\nIdentify potential risks to project success and mitigate those risks.\n\nLeverage technology to create efficiencies and cost savings on each matter.\n\nMaintain project tracker and ensure all steps in the eDiscovery process are documented.\n\nUse RelativityOne to process, analyze, search, thread, batch, review and produce documents.\n\nProvide guidance and training to case teams on eDiscovery software.\n\nAnalyze and report on all incoming data from client and external parties.\n\nReview and edit document review protocols to ensure compliance with Goodwin’s eDiscovery best practices.\n\nMonitor document review progress and assess potential issues with cost or quality of the document review.\n\nAssist in the creation of privilege logs.\n\nServe as primary liaison between case team and eDiscovery vendor\n\nWork with vendors to obtain eDiscovery project bids.\n\nWork with case teams to evaluate vendor bids and select the best vendor for each project.\n\nLead matter kickoff call with case team and vendor and participate in all vendor meetings thereafter.\n\nPerform detailed quality control checks on all vendor work, including all searches and document productions.\n\nMonitor eDiscovery spend versus budget and regularly communicate with case teams regarding any anticipated budget overages.\n\nTimely escalate project management issues and proactively implement steps to mitigate project delays.\n\nAt the end of each matter, assist case team in evaluating database decommissions options and ensure database is properly decommissioned in accordance with Goodwin’s eDiscovery Playbook.\n\nAdvise on improvements to Goodwin’s eDiscovery playbook.\n\nMaintain knowledge of various litigation support and document review tools/updates.\n\nMaintain current knowledge of industry standards and procedures.\n\nWho You Are:\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree.\n\nOver 5 years of experience in eDiscovery.\n\nPrior eDiscovery role in an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nThorough understanding of the electronic discovery process.\n\nRelativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification required; Relativity Analytics Specialist certification is a plus.\n\nBrainspace Analyst Certification required; additional Brainspace certifications are preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with other eDiscovery applications like Nuix, Reveal, DISCO, etc. is preferred.\n\nAdvanced skills in database searching, data analytics, and technology-assisted review (TAR).\n\nProficiency in Adobe and Excel.\n\nExperience:\nExperience designing workflows to facilitate ESI review.\n\nProficiency in processing, searching, threading, reviewing, and producing data in RelativityOne.\n\nExperience handling large cases, including document collections, reviews, and productions.\n\nProven experience working with eDiscovery vendors on pricing, budgets, and project management.\n\nSkills:\nAbility to understand both the substantive and strategic aspects of various litigation matters.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.\n\nStrong commitment to delivering superior client service to both internal and external clients.\n\nQuick learner with the capability to deploy new technology swiftly.\n\nAdaptability to unexpected changes, tight deadlines,
